Common Questions
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
You don’t need to be in crisis to start therapy. Many people seek support when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to navigate a life transition. If you’re feeling curious about therapy, that’s often a meaningful first step.
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to share what’s been bringing you in. We’ll talk about your goals, what support might be helpful, and answer any questions you have. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with.
What do you help people with?
I work with adults and women navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, caregiver stress, life transitions, and challenges related to self-trust and boundaries. Therapy is collaborative and paced to meet you where you are.
Do you offer in-person or telehealth sessions?
I currently offer telehealth sessions for California residents. Many clients find virtual therapy to be flexible, accessible, and just as effective as in-person work.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. I accept Anthem, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Aetna.
How do I get started?
To get started, simply fill out the contact form.
What if I’m not sure what to talk about?
That’s very common. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can take things one step at a time and work together to understand what feels most important to explore.
You’re welcome to reach out when you’re ready.
Groups & Workshops
I’m in the process of developing small, supportive groups and workshops for women and caregivers. Future offerings may include spaces focused on anxiety and overwhelm, caregiver support and burnout, parenting stress, life transitions, and self-compassion. These groups will be gentle, structured spaces where you don’t have to navigate things alone.
Groups & workshops are coming soon. If you’re interested, you’re welcome to mention this in your Request Consultation form or contact message.
